From Lebanon to Massachusetts: The Story of Fine R Studio

Fine R Studio began with one idea: bring the knowledge gathered through years of painting, sculpture, design, and handcraft into one creative place.

Founded by Lebanese-American multidisciplinary artist Rody Sakr, the studio is rooted in Lebanon and connected to Massachusetts. Its work carries the memory of Mediterranean materials and Lebanese making traditions into objects created for contemporary life.

Traditional craft, contemporary form

Lebanese craft has always been shaped by material intelligence—knowing how wood, metal, stone, textile, and ornament behave in the hand. Fine R Studio builds on that knowledge without treating tradition as something fixed. Instead, familiar materials are recomposed through sculpture, abstraction, and modern proportion.

Art that can be worn and lived with

The wearable sculpture collection translates Rody Sakr’s artistic language into necklaces and objects made from materials such as olive wood, 18K gold, silver, and stones. The gemstone bracelets bring the same attention to scale, color, and tactile detail into smaller everyday pieces. Limited art prints extend the studio’s world through themes of memory, connection, identity, and home.

Small quantities, individual character

Fine R Studio develops work in small quantities with specialist makers and artisanal workshops. Natural grain, stone pattern, and hand-finishing vary from one piece to the next. Those differences are part of the work—not imperfections to be erased.
